The 48 Hour Film Project is a global, annual competition where teams are given select prompts to create a short film from script to screen all within a weekend -- or 48 hours. For my role as Wardrobe Runner, I prepare any looks necessary from select garments I already have on hand, new garments I can purchase, and what props I can make in less than 8 hours before production. I also communicate with cast and crew on what to expect prior to meeting on set. While there is a visible idea of what is needed from the director and producer, I take charge with providing a multitude of backups, most of which were of great use for a time-constrained challenge like this.
